Tessie turns 2!!

Wow, what a wonderful week we have had! Tess Marguerite turned 2! She is such a treat and we had so much fun celebrating her birthday. She loves princesses and really felt like one for the day....thanks to Aunt Wendy's dress up tutu, tiara, high heels and jewelry birthday gifts. We also found out that she is a great "Mommy" to her new baby doll that Nana and Ba-pa got her! She is really becoming quite independent, wanting to do everything by and for herself. Her favorite pharse right now is "Tessie do it!" She is talking much more and is now completely potty trained. Mom and Dad are glad about that!

Catholic Heart Workcamp 2008

Here are a few pictures from Catholic Heart Workcamp 2008! For those of you who don't know, this workcamp is a week long camp where Catholic teens come together and perform volunteer work for residents in a particular community. This year we went to Rockford, IL and I tagged along as a chaperone! It was awesome!! Above are pictures of my team of 6 teens and the residents for whom we painted their house. Then one of my bestest!! friends, Cheryl, and then a group of us at Navy Pier in Chicago on our free day!

Happy 4th of July!

Happy birthday America! The kids had a great time 4th of July. Tess loved the fireworks and pointed to each one and called out the colors, for most of them saying, "Blue or Purple!" Brady was scared of the loud noises, but Grandpa Ray got his old headphones from when he was an airline mechanic, and that was all he needed!

Happy Birthday Brady!

Brady is 4 years old! He chose to go to Red Robin for his birthday dinner. We had a ball sharing chocolate malts, cheeseburgers and fries. The weekend prior he had a big birthday bash at our house with all his friends. It was a zoo, but perfect in every way and he really felt like "king for the day!"

Here are a couple of pics from Father's Day. We spent the day with Matt's parents (Matt's Dad is in the pictures with the kids.) Matt is holding both dogs, Molly who is ours (see below) and Abby, her sister who is Matt's parents.

The newest member of our family...MOLLY!

Meet MOLLY, the newest addition to our family. Molly is a yellow lab/golden retriever mix. She is 10 weeks old and really a great puppy. She is calm for the most part and is already house broken and very good with the kids. Maya, our chocolate lab, LOVES the new company. Molly's sister Abby belongs to Matt's parents, and it is really fun to get them together!

Yes, we LOVE big dogs. And the fenced yard is a wonderful thing, they spend a lot of time outside!

Our princess Tess!

Tess will be 2 in August and has really turned into a little girl now. This seemed like it happened overnight. She is potty training already and doing quite well with that. She loves books, playing outside, and swimming. Although she is usually as sweet as can be, she is starting to exclaim her independence and a little feisty personality is starting to shine through. She can be quite the drama queen if things don't go her way...I guess she is right on track for being our middle child...if there is another sibling in the future sometime! No plans yet, these 2 keep us busy enough!

Brady - The athlete...Baseball

Here are some highlight pics of Brady's baseball season. He was a "Yankee" and even wore #7, Mickey Mantles number, and that fits, as he's a lefty, but sometimes forgets and hits right! We did find out that although he can hit well, he seems to be cut out for shortstop or 2nd base. His favorite thing and what he did best all season was field the ball and throw it to first. Mom and Dad loved watching him play and Tess loved cheering for "guy" (as she calls him) on the sideline.

Welcome to the Dresner family website! This is the most current family picture. This is our first attempt at blogging, but with so many friends and family around the country, we thought this would be a great way for people to keep up with us!

Wow, what can I say, time flies! Brady just turned 4 years old and Tess will be 2 in August. We are running all over the place, but enjoying every minute of it, ok, almost every minute!

Brady is our sports fanatic and loves anything that involves a ball. He played T-ball and soccer this past spring and is quite a little athlete. Tess is our drama queen. She is affectionately nicknamed "princess tess" and loves all things "girlie". Dora and Disney Princesses are her favorites!
